Manchester United v Barcelona: Key battles

Manchester United face Barcelona in Gothenburg on Wednesday evening in the most glamorous of pre-season friendlies.

United have already been to Africa and Asia this summer, but come to Scandinavia with a full-strength squad for the first time during pre-season, having welcomed Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic back into the fold on Sunday.

Barcelona, meanwhile, drew 2-2 with Paris Saint-Germain in their most recent friendly encounter, and will be keen to complete a morale boosting win over United as the new season edges ever closer.
