Campbell to hold talks with Blackpool

QPR have given permission for DJ Campbell to hold talks with Blackpool over a return to Bloomfield Road, Press Association Sport understands.

Campbell only joined boyhood idols Rangers last summer on a two-year contract but he endured an injury-plagued season and only made three starts for the club.

And having been bought by former QPR boss Neil Warnock last summer, it was always open to question whether the 30-year-old was part of current manager Mark Hughes' plans.
