Arsene Wenger reportedly wants to include Barcelona starlet Cristian Tello in any deal for midfielder Alex Song.

There have been a number of reports suggesting the Camp Nou club are readying a move for the Gunners star and The Daily Star has claimed Wenger would take the talented young winger if a deal is to happen.

The Emirates Stadium boss will be reluctant to lose a player who has been transformed under his tutelage, but will try to get the best out of any deal that takes the Cameroon international to La Liga.

Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has said he is in no rush to make any new signings, but Song could be seen as a replacement for Seydou Keita, who has moved to China this summer.

Despite Vilanova’s assertions that he is not looking to make signings, both Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique have spoken positively about the prospect of playing alongside the Arsenal star.
