Tottenham prepare £80 million spending spree

Published Add your comment

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to hand Andre Villas-Boas the full £30 million he received for Modric and then some allowing him to pursue the likes of Hugo Lloris, Yann M’Vila and Moussa Dembele.

Liverpool are plotting a deadline day raid for Chelsea’s Daniel Sturridge. The out-of-favour Chelsea forward has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and could be the subject of a £10 million bid from the Merseyside club.

Ibrahim Affelay’s agent has confirmed the Dutchman is free to leave Barcelona on loan this summer with Arsenal and Tottenham leading the chase for his signature.

Sir Alex Ferguson may’ve already insisted there’ll be no more players in or out of Old Trafford in the transfer window but that’s not enough to stop speculation Nani could soon leave the club - Zenit St Petersburg want the winger.

And finally Roberto Mancini has made little effort to conceal his desire of landing some big name signings this summer. With a deal for Swansea’s Scott Sinclair close - moves for Daniele De Rossi and Javi Martinez could still be on the cards.
