There was a familiar face at Cobham on Tuesday as Chelsea legend Didier Drogba paid a visit to his former club to catch up with the friends he left behind two months ago.
Drogba left the Blues as a free agent earlier this summer, having allowed his contract to expire following eight glorious years in west London.
His final act as a Chelsea player was to score the decisive penalty in the dramatic shootout victory over Bayern Munich in the final of the Champions League, before he moved onto pastures new with Shanghai Shenhua.
Drogba's stay with Shenhua, meanwhile, could come to an abrupt end after it was revealed a row between shareholders could significantly damage the club's finances.
The Chinese club are now struggling to pay the wages of their players, which could see Drogba and former Chelsea teammate Nicolas Anelka sold to balance the books.
