Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake may be close friends and training partners, but the latter may cause friction between the pair after his recent show of support for Liverpool.

Bolt is an ardent supporter of Manchester United, and paraded his 2012 Olympic gold medals on the pitch at Old Trafford during the weekend defeat of Fulham.

Blake, however, has shown a leaning towards Liverpool - United's most bitter of rivals - after tweeting Reds youngster Raheem Sterling following his full Premier League debut against Manchester City.

The double Olympic silver medalist tweeted: "Hail up fellow Yardie -- Raheem Stirling of Liverpool FC! Big up yourself."

Sterling, who was born in Blake's native Jamaica, put in an impressive display at Anfield as Liverpool drew 2-2 with the Premier League champions.

The 17-year-old almost laid on the opener for Fabio Borini, before Martin Skrtel did give Liverpool the lead in the first-half with a thunderous header.

Yaya Toure restored parity for City before a Luis Suarez free-kick put the Reds ahead, but a Skrtel error allowed the Sky Blues to claim a point.
