Bacary Sagna could be set to be the next ‘big’ name to join the conveyor belt of talent to leave the Gunners – if his recent comments are to be believed. His very public outburst criticised the sale of Alex Song to Barcelona, saying “it is a huge loss for the club.”

Sagna also cast doubt over his long-term future at Arsenal, suggesting that individual players have their “own destiny.”

Following Sagna’s public criticisms, GMF looks at the most public of Premier League outbursts in the past with some famous faces making the top five.

Kevin Keegan

In response to Sir Alex Ferguson, Kevin Keegan responded with one of the most famous rants to grace the screens of Premier League fans. Manager of Newcastle at the time, in a pressured title race with Sir Alex’s Manchester United, Keegan seemed to enjoy letting off a little steam here, "I will love it if we beat them!"

Roy Keane

Roy Keane has been author to various Premier League rants over the years, including his famous ‘Prawn Sandwich’ speech. “Some people come to Old Trafford and can't spell football, let alone understand it. They have a few drinks and a prawn sandwich but don't realise what's happening on the pitch.” A truly famous set of comments by the ex-Manchester United captain. However the clip we’ll show is from an interview with the BBC where a reporter’s question doesn’t receive the most receptive of responses from Roy…

Rafa Benitez

Benitez enjoys his facts after this very personal attack on Sir Alex Ferguson’s conduct towards officials. This again was during another pressured title race between Manchester United and Liverpool – leading to an outburst from Rafa. Explaining all the instances where Sir Alex had avoided punishment from the FA, this speech will always be known as the ‘FACTS’ speech.

Ian Holloway

Ian Holloway was a breath of fresh air to the Premier League, doing a fantastic job bringing Blackpool up from the Championship. Holloway always led an enjoyable and interesting press conference and wasn’t afraid to express his opinions on certain issues – positive or negative. It is fair to say that Holloway thought something was wrong here….

Harry Redknapp

One of the Premier League’s finest, Harry is popular amongst the fans and the media, always guaranteed to give a good interview. He is known for his ability to salvage the best out of players – maybe he needs to get them practicing their shooting soon though.
