Barcelona are set to move quickly to offer Cristian Tello and Gerard Deulofeu new contracts amid interest from a number of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Liverpool have reportedly held a long term interest in Spain under-21 winger Cristian Tello, while Chelsea and Manchester City are thought to hold Spanish under-19 forward Deulofeu in high regard, and are believed to have considered bids for the starlet.
The two youngsters are the latest jewels to be produced by the famed La Masia academy in Barcelona, and both have made appearances for the first team.
21-year-old Tello in particular has established himself in Tito Vilanova's squad, while Deulofeu was the star of the show at this summer's European under-19 tournament.
Reports on talkSPORT revealed Manchester City had appointed Ferran Sorian, the former Nou Camp general manager, as their chief executive, and were hopeful of bringing Tello and Deulofeu to the Etihad Stadium.
And Spanish newspaper Sport reported that Tello had been the subject of interest from Brendan Rodgers during the transfer window, but that Barca have now offered the youngster a new contract - which he's expected to sign in the next few weeks. Liverpool endured a difficult end to the transfer window, failing to secure a replacement for Andy Carroll.
18-year-old Deulofeu has attracted the interest of Chelsea, according to recent reports, and Barcelona are yet to tie the youngster down to a long term deal.
But the Catalans are confident that their pacy forward, who joined the Barca academy aged nine, will put pen to paper on a new contract, and reject any approach from Chelsea.
