Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has moved to end speculation that he and Cristiano Ronaldo have fallen out after a picture of the pair was posted to the former's Facebook account.
El Confidencial Digital reported that Casillas and Ronaldo had argued in the dressing room after Andres Iniesta had pipped the Portuguese to be named UEFA Best Player in Europe.
It was claimed that some of Real's Spanish players revelled in Ronaldo's defeat to their compatriot and even laughed at the former Manchester United's misfortune.
There was further speculation that Casillas and Ronaldo were enduring a strained relationship after the Real Madrid goalkeeper failed to celebrate his teammate's last gasp winner against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Casillas responded with a show of unity following Real's defeat of Rayo Vallecano on Monday evening by posting a photo of him and Ronaldo with the caption: "You'll have to take this with humour."
Ronaldo scored in Los Blancos' rearranged fixture with Rayo, with Karim Benzema netting the other in a 2-0 victory for Jose Mourinho's side.
