Fernando Torres praises Oscar, Hazard & Mata

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has revealed how much he’s enjoying playing in front of Blues new-boys Oscar and Eden Hazard.

The Brazil and Belgian internationals were bought for £25m and £32m respectively, and both have made excellent starts to their Chelsea careers.

That continued today against Arsenal. Roberto Di Matteo’s side ran out 2-1 winners at the Emirates Stadium thanks to a Torres goal and a second-half Mata free-kick.

And Torres revealed afterwards how much he’s enjoying playing for Chelsea this season, especially with the attacking trio of Oscar, Hazard and Spain compatriot Juan Mata, after a disappointing campaign last year.

"I enjoy more this season," Torres told Sky Sports. "The kind of players I have behind me has given me a lot of support. I have to improve to create more and more chances for the team.

"I'm scoring more. The team still have a big way to improve. Not just me - everyone. I think we're showing as a team with this different style of football this season we're in the top. We can dream with a very good system again."

The Spaniard’s goal was his fourth this season, and his second this week after his header against Wolves in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night.

Chelsea had a poor record against Arsenal without Didier Drogba, but Torres had a superb game at the Emirates Stadium, and found the back of the net in the first half with a fine hooked volley.

The former-Liverpool striker was full of running, and occupied the Gunners' centre-back pairing of Laurent Koscielny and Thomas Vermaelen for the full 90 minutes.
