Chelsea’s match-winner from Saturday, Juan Mata, has been singing the praises of Stamford Bridge new boys Eden Hazard and Oscar, while claiming the best is yet to come from him.

The Spaniard was instrumental in the Blues’ 2-1 win over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium, two of his free-kicks made the difference in a tight game. The first caused havoc in the Gunners defence, allowing Fernando Torres to turn in at the far post, and the second flew in the corner after evading everyone.

It was a solid performance from Roberto di Matteo’s side, with the trio of Mata, Oscar and Hazard key to the victory, as they have been throughout Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the season, and the former Valencia man is loving the link up.

“I like to play with the ball, try and assist, with passing, with movement, with freedom and I think it's what Eden, Oscar and me are doing at the moment," he said after the win over the Gunners.

The 24-year-old also claimed the two-week break Di Matteo gave him following his exertions at Euro 2012 and the Olympics with Spain would see him improve as the season goes on.

Though he said the healing effects of the time off will be felt later in the season when games begin to pile up and a busy summer could well have started to feel in his legs.

“Not now. Later. Maybe in January, February,” he added.

“The season is so long for each player. Maybe these two weeks will be very important for me.

“Before I had these two weeks, I didn't feel bad. But I think, with so many games in the season, it will be good for me and now I feel very, very good.

“I think it was a nice break for me. Two weeks resting, trying to get out of football and now I feel really fit.”

Chelsea's impressive start to the season will be expected to continue when they take on Champions League debutants FC Nordsjaelland in Copenhagen on Tuesday.

The Danish side are one of the smallest clubs in the competition this year and Roman Abramovich's multi-million pound line up should win comfortably
