Chelsea travel to face Danish champions FC Nordsjaelland in the Champions League on Tuesday night, with confidence high in the Blues camp following the 2-1 weekend victory over Arsenal.

The result means Roberto Di Matteo’s side are top of the Premier League table with five wins and a draw from their opening six games, although the situation is slightly different in Europe after an opening-day draw against Juventus at Stamford Bridge.

That means Chelsea will be chasing all three points against The Wild Tigers, and a strong team is expected to be named by the Italian manager.

Petr Cech will continue to keep goal for the visitors, whilst Ryan Bertrand is expected to play instead of Ashley Cole at left-back. Gary Cahill could start ahead of David Luiz.

In midfield, Di Matteo has options with Oriol Romeu, Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel competing for two spaces, whilst Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Oscar are expected to taking the attacking places.

As the only fit striker, Fernando Torres will start up-front for Chelsea.

Chelsea predicted line-up v FC Nordsjaelland:

Petr Cech; Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Ryan Bertrand; John Obi Mikel, Oriol Romeu; Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Oscar; Fernando Torres.
