Luis Suarez has praised Liverpool youngsters Raheem Sterling and Suso for working their way into the first team, and believes they can go on to achieve great things at Anfield.
New boss Brendan Rodgers has been keen to promote young players into the first team following his arrival in the summer, with both Sterling and Suso being given a chance to shine.
Sterling earned a call-up to the England national team after his early season performances, and although the 17-year-old is yet to win his first cap for the Three Lions he is said to be in contention for thier game against San Marino later this month.
Suso also impressed in Liverpool’s first win of the Premier League season against Norwich and featured against Manchester United last month.
Suarez, who bagged a hat-trick in the 5-2 win against Norwich at Carrow Road, believes the future looks bright at Anfield, and says he will do all he can to nurture the young talent Liverpool possess.
"We've got a lot of quality youngsters here, such as Raheem, Suso showed what he could do the other day. [Adam] Morgan has to keep taking his chance to feature more and more, and [Jerome] Sinclair made his debut," he told Liverpool's official website.
"They are all really good players and they are at Liverpool for a reason. The form that Raheem has been showing and Suso the other day, they are showing us that they want to help the team.
"And we so-called experienced players are always there to help them so let's hope that they continue to develop and don't just stand still but continue to prove exactly why they are at Liverpool."
Rodgers looks set to reward his young player’s efforts by handing them new contracts, with Suso, Sterling and Andre Wisdom all in line for new deals.
