Juventus are preparing a January transfer move for Manchester United winger Luis Nani, according to reports.

The Serie ‘A’ champions were linked with a number of Premier League players in the summer, but manager Antonio Conte was left frustrated with just Nicklas Bendtner joining on loan from Arsenal.

According to talkSPORT, the Bianconeri are ready to raid the English top flight once again however, with the Portuguese star on the radar along with Theo Walcott.

Nani is enduring a difficult campaign at Old Trafford this term, with reports yesterday claiming his loss of form is the reason behind the lack of a new contract with the Red Devils.

Conte is said to be monitoring the situation, and will be hoping that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be listening to offers for the Portuguese star.

Nani’s current contract expires in the summer of 2014, meaning Juventus would still have to pay a decent fee for the player, although no valuation is mentioned in the initial report.

The 62-cap international started his career at Sporting Lisbon, but moved to Manchester United in 2007. The 25-year-old is yet to hit the heights of Cristiano Ronaldo at the club however, and his days could be numbered under the Scottish boss.
