Juventus reportedly want Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and are readying a move for him in the January transfer window.

According to Italian website tuttosport.com, the Serie A champions are desperate to land the Ivorian next year and will do all they can to exploit a shareholder disagreement at his current club, Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.

Drogba moved to the Chinese side this summer on a free transfer after his deal at Chelsea expired, but a dispute in the boardroom at Shenhua has thrown up the possibility of the club not being able to pay his sizeable wages.

The report claims Drogba is unhappy about the uncertainty pervading the club’s ownership and will look for a way out if it persists through to January, where Juventus will be waiting with open arms to help boost their attacking options.

The 34-year-old left Stamford Bridge a hero at the end of last season, where his goals took Roberto di Matteo’s side to an astonishing FA Cup and Champions League double.
