Chelsea defender David Luiz says it is a 'dream come true' to be able to extend his stay with the west London club by another five-years.
The 25-year-old joined the Blues from Benfica in January 2011 for a fee of £21 million and has progressed into an integral part of Roberto di Matteo's side.
Luiz's importance to Chelsea was outlined earlier this month when he put pen to paper on a lucrative new contract extension, and could not happier to have committed himself to the Stamford Bridge club.
"I'm so happy because it gives me more confidence to look to the future, to try and help Chelsea all the time," he told the official Chelsea website.
"I love this club and playing for Chelsea, so five more years here is a dream for me."
Luiz scored in Chelsea's victory against Danish side FC Nordsjaelland on Tuesday evening - firing in a fine free-kick as the Blues triumphed 4-0 in their Champions League encounter.
Chelsea now top Group E on goal difference, having started the campaign with a 2-2 draw with Juventus, as they bid to defend the European title they won so dramatically against Bayern Munich last season.
