Manchester United are being linked with a move for highly-rated Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama.
The Daily Mirror reports that Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson has sent his brother, Martin, to watch the Kenyan international on a number of occasions this season.
His latest trips to Celtic Park have been for Champions League matches, with the Manchester United manager eager to find out if the player can perform on the European stage rather than just in the SPL.
Bhoys boss Neil Lennon landed Wanyama for just £900,000 back in July 2011, and the former Beerscho AC star has instantly impressed north of the border.
His performances have led to interest from Old Trafford, who hope they can land the player for a fee in the region of £7 million.
However, Celtic believe the player can command a fee in the region of £10 million, which means Manchester United will have a big decision to make when the transfer window opens at the start of 2013.
