Helguson brace keeps Cardiff top

Published Add your comment

Heidar Helguson nodded home an 88th-minute winner as Cardiff remained top of the npower Championship with a 2-1 victory at Ipswich.

The Tractor Boys took the lead on the cusp of half-time when debutant DJ Campbell appeared to handle the ball over the line but the Bluebirds turned the tide when Helguson prodded home in the 63rd minute following a Scott Loach fumble.

The Icelandic striker was then on target again to win in it in the closing moments from Andrew Taylor's cross.
