Former-Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison faces the axe at Birmingham City after the Championship club lost patience with the forward.

The England youth international is on loan from West Ham. but Birmingham boss Lee Clark is ready to ship him back to east London because of the striker's poor attitude.

According to the Daily Mirror, Morrison's attitude in training and around the club has been unacceptable, and the Midlands side are keen to terminate their agreement with Premier League side West Ham.

Morrison left Manchester United last season after Sir Alex Ferguson ran out of patience with the 19-year-old. His off-the-pitch issues became difficult to ignore for the Old Trafford side, and despite Morrison's undoubted talent, Manchester United cut him loose.

Morrison was once rated as the best Manchester United academy graduate since Paul Scholes, and Birmingham manager Clark was keen to bring the youngster into the club as they bid for a return to the Premier League.

But the 19-year-old is yet to feature for Birmingham, and the club are eager to rip up their agreement with the Hammers.

But all parties - Morrison, Birmingham and West Ham - have to agree to the termination for it to take effect.

And West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is believed to want Morrison to stay at Birmingham until the end of the season. The former Mancester United forward joined West Ham for £1.4m in January.

The ex-Old Trafford starlet admitted two charges of intimidating a witness, and was fined £7,000 by the FA earlier this year for posting a homophobic comment on Twitter.
