Brazilian star Neymar has his heart set on a move to Barcelona, despite strong interest from mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain, it has been claimed.
The 20-year-old is contracted to current employers Santos until 2014 and, despite stating he will honour his deal with the Brazilian club, Neymar could reportedly leave for the Camp Nou next summer.
Neymar has frequently been linked with a move to Barcelona and the prospects of the Brazil international playing with Lionel Messi is one that will leave football purists - and Barca fans - purring.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the prospect of Neymar and Messi appearing for Barcelona together is almost a forgone conclusion, given the downpayment the Catalan giants have already made.
Barcelona have reportedly paid €10 million to Santos already and remain confident that they will secure Neymar's signature with the agreement stating the latter must pay an €80 million fine should they sell him to any other club.
This will, it is claimed, end the interest of Paris Saint-Germain as Santos cannot afford to entertain offers from clubs besides Barcelona, which also rules the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United out of the running.
But, reports El Mundo Deportivo, Neymar has already decided that he wants to move to the Camp Nou, and looks set to be banging in the goals alongside Messi in the not too distant future.
