Reported Chelsea and Manchester United target, Jores Okore, has refused to rule out the prospect of securing a move away from Nordsjaelland in 2013.

According to Sky Sports, the 20-year-old defender is keen to test himself at a higher level, having built his reputation in Denmark.

After an impressive outing against Chelsea in the Champions League, Okore has stood up to suggestions he has what it takes to compete with the best.

So impressive was his performance against Roberto Di Matteo's side in Europe last week, it prompted Old Trafford legend Peter Schmeichel to recommend Okore as a potential signing for Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Danish international is in no rush to turn his back on his current employers, but admits he would be open to offers.

"I use a lot of time and energy assessing my situation," he told bold.dk. "I do want to stay in Nordsjaelland because everything is going so well, but there comes a time when you need to move things along.

"It is all about timing and deciding when you will be ready to play with the big boys abroad."

With Chelsea and Manchester United both believed to be circling, it will be interesting to see where Okore decides his future will be better served, or if indeed he receives other offers in addition to Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford.

"We have not discussed the situation yet, but I guess it could happen during the winter or summer when transfer activity is allowed," he explained.

"If the club can find me an interesting offer then I might move during the summer."
