Former-QPR midfielder Lee Cook has questioned the motives behind former-Manchester United star Park Ji Sung's transfer to QPR.

The Korean international swapped Old Trafford for Loftus Road in the summer, after seven years at Manchester United.

But former-QPR winger Cook has alleged Park may have moved away from Manchester United for one final pay-day at QPR.

"Every time I saw Park at United, he was a workhorse," Cook told The Sun. "For me, he doesn't seem to be working as hard as he did there.

"People I know think a few of them are there for a pay-day. At halfway through the season, you will be able to tell whether this is true or not."

Park was one of 11 players to join QPR in the summer, along with fellow Manchester United player Fabio Da Silva - but Fabio signed only on loan from United.

The former-PSV midfielder has 100 caps for South Korea, and is one of his country's most famous players.

At United, Park won four Premier League titles, three League Cups and one Champions League, but the South Korean star left Old Trafford after falling down the pecking order.

After joining QPR, Park was swiftly named captain by manager Mark Hughes, but the London side currently sit rock bottom of the Premier League table.
