Striker Steve Morison believes Wales can head into Tuesday's clash in Croatia with renewed optimism thanks to their 2-1 win over Scotland.

Chris Coleman's men fought back from behind to claim their first victory of the World Cup qualifying campaign in Cardiff on Friday thanks to a late double from Gareth Bale. The Dragons now prepare to travel to Osijek to face a high-flying Croatia side who are sitting joint top of Group A with Belgium.

"I don't think they are ever nice places to go to. They are very, very hard places to go to and get results," Morison said. "But going there off the back of a win will make it a little bit easier."
