Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has expressed anger at the speculation surrounding reported Chelsea and Manchester City target Falcao.

Roberto Mancini and Roberto di Matteo have both been credited with an interest in the free-scoring Colombian, as well as reportedly being ready to splash large sums of money to land him.

Real Madrid have also been reported to want Falcao and that, along with the numerous links to bids from Chelsea and Manchester City, has caused Cerezo to lose patience and react angrily.

“I'm not rude, but I’m really angry. Everything in life has a limit. I don't know his future, but if you know it you can tell him," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

“I can't stand to hear this rumour anymore. I can only say that Falcao now plays for Atletico Madrid.”

This response is unlikely to quieten the speculation surrounding the 26-year-old, but the level of Cerezo's reaction is an indicator as to how much news has been generated by the question of Falcao’s future.

The reported interest from Chelsea and Manchester City is all to do with Falcao’s extraordinary goals record for Atletico.

He has already scored 11 goals in just eight games so far this season, carrying on the form that took him to a tally of 36 last season.
