Chelsea are ready to welcome Frank Lampard and Ryan Bertrand back from injury ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

The England duo were both unavailable for Roy Hodgson’s international squad last week, as the Three Lions thumped San Marino at Wembley before stumbling to a draw against Poland in Warsaw.

However, Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo was able to confirm that both players are back in training, and fighting for selection ahead of the trip to White Hart Lane for Saturday’s early kick-off.

"Lampard and Bertrand are back fit and well. They have trained for two full sessions and are available to play against Spurs," he told his pre-match press conference.

Bertrand was originally selected for the England squad at the start of last week, but a virus kept the 23-year-out from potentially representing his country for a third time.

Lampard was another to be selected before pulling out with a calf problem, but the veteran midfielder has recovered well at Stamford Bridge, and is ready to face former-Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas this weekend.
