Javier Hernandez's two goals for Manchester United against Braga on Tuesday provides Sir Alex Ferguson with the envious task of trying to find the best combination of the Mexican striker, Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck.

Hernandez came to the rescue after United fell 2-0 behind at Old Trafford in their Champions League encounter - scoring either side of a goal from Jonny Evans to ensure the Red Devils secured three points.

The future of Hernandez as a Manchester United player has been subject to debate of late, particularly after the acquisition of Van Persie for £24 million from Arsenal in August.

Hernandez has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Fiorentina while, more recently, a transfer to Atletico Madrid, but Ferguson says the 24-year-old's brace against Braga highlights his worth to the Manchester United cause alongside his illustrious counterparts.

"Chicharito has given me a good problem," Ferguson told the official Manchester United website.

"He’s got me thinking, I must say that. He and van Persie and Rooney and Welbeck... I don’t know what to do with them to be honest with you.

"The boy is improving all the time. He has a great enthusiasm for the game, he trains magnificently, he practices all the time and his goal ratio is fantastic.

"It was a great ball from Tom Cleverley for the second goal but Chicharito's movement in behind the defender for the second goal was terrific."

Hernadez joined Manchester United from Guadalajara in the summer of 2010 and has scored 35 goals in 95 appearances for the 19-time title winners.
