Tottenham remain interested in trying to land Sevilla forward Alvaro Negredo during the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
Negredo has six goals in nine appearances in La Liga so far this season and boasts an impressive record of 44 strikes in 70 league appearances since joining the Andalucía-based club in 2009. He was also part of Spain's succesful Euro 2012 squad.
