Arsenal are considering a January move for Croatian youth international Ante Roguljic, according to The Sun.

The NK Adriatic Split player has impressed Arsenal scouts, and Arsene Wenger is reportedly prepared to sanction a £1.5m move for the Croatian starlet.

Roguljic competed for Croatia under-17's earlier this year as the Balkan nation began the long road to qualification for the European under-17 Championship in Slovakia in 2013.

And Roguljic impressed last month as Croatia won all three of their qualifiers. The 16-year-old started all three matches, scoring in two.

Arsenal have an excellent track record when it comes to bringing through young players from academy to first-team, and the Gunners will be hopeful they can tempt Roguljic to north London.

In recent seasons the likes of Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczesny have graduated from the youth academy, and just this campaign Serge Gnabry and Thomas Eisfield have successfully stepped up to the first-team squad.

Roguljic is not the only Croatian starlet tipped for the big time. His international compatriot Alen Halilovic has been the subject of many Premier League club's scouting missions this year.

The 16-year-old has been compared to Lionel Messi and Luka Modric, and Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all thought to be interested in the youngster.
