Tottenham will be without midfield duo Sandro (calf) and Mousa Dembele (hip) for tonight's Europa League clash against Maribor at White Hart Lane, as Andre Villas-Boas goes in search of his first victory in Group J.

Jake Livermore will have a late test on his ankle injury and the Spurs boss has confirmed that Hugo Lloris will line up in goal.

William Gallas is available despite suffering a slight hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat against Wigan on Saturday, while Scott Parker (Achilles), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) remain sidelined.

The Premier League outfit have so far collected just three points from three games, and lie third in the table ahead of tonight's clash against the Slovenian champions.

Tottenham will be determined to deliver a good result and positive performance, to appease the section of home fans who booed the players off the pitch following defeat to the Latics.

Maribor held Spurs to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture thanks to a goal from highly-rated striker Robert Beric, who is a reported January target for the north Londoners.

He is set to lead the line for the visitors again tonight, and will be looking to impress as he bids to earn himself a potential transfer to England.

Predicted Tottenham starting XI:

Lloris; Naughton, Dawson, Caulker, Vertonghen; Huddlestone, Sigurdsson; Lennon, Dempsey, Bale; Adebayor
