Every football club has its own fans' favourite. Whether it's the captain, the leading goalscorer, or the loyal servant, there's an inevitability that some players are more popular with supporters than others.
An individual's standing can often be gauged by the number of fans that buy and/or wear his printed shirt. And, thanks to a recent study by the Daily Mail, here's a list of the Premier League participants and their three most popular shirt-sellers.
The only clubs that did not want to divulge such information were Chelsea - who declined to comment - and Aston Villa, who revealed that around 70 per cent of their overall sales for 2012/13 can be credited to summer signing Christian Benteke.
