Uncapped Inverness striker Billy McKay has been added to the Northern Ireland squad for next week's World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan.

Although born in Corby, McKay was capped twice by Northern Ireland Under-21s in 2009-10 and now has the chance to make his senior international debut at Windsor Park on Wednesday.

Manager Michael O'Neill has issued the call to the 24-year-old after Derby forward Jamie Ward was forced to withdraw from the 24-man squad with a hamstring injury.
