Brede Hangeland has confirmed Fulham's interest in Norway international team-mate Vegard Forren, revealing manager Martin Jol has asked him about the defender's suitability for the Premier League.
The 24-year-old centre-back has attracted a number of suitors with his displays for Norway and club side Molde, who were recently crowned league champions.
"His name has come up," Hangeland told TV2. "They asked me about him after the last international break, so of course I had to be honest and tell them he's a very good footballer."
