Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has presented Lionel Messi with a miniature Argentina kit as the pair met up in Riyadh ahead of their country's friendly against Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

The Barcelona star holds up the tiny blue and white striped strip for his two-week-old son, Thiago, complete with a No.10 - the same shirt his father wears for both his club and country.

Despite not yet being able to walk, Messi Jnr has already been made a member of Newell's Old Boys' supporters club - the same club the three-time Ballon d'Or winner turned out for at youth level, prior to moving to Camp Nou at the age of 13.

An agreement was reached between the Argentine club and baby Thiago's grandfather, Jorge, prompting the issue of an official club membership card, and the impending arrival of a kit from Newell's.

The capture marks a double celebration for a side currently enjoying one of its best seasons in recent memory, with Old Boys sitting top of Argentina's first division, under the stewardship of new coach, and former Paraguay manager Gerardo Martino.
