Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola has said his player's relationship with Roberto Mancini is 'like that between a husband and his wife.'
Raiola, Balotelli's agent and adviser, also insisted the Italy international is not interested in leaving Manchester City, after reports had linked the former-Inter Milan star with a return to Serie 'A'.
After Balotelli was recently left out of Manchester City's matchday squad to face Tottenham, the Italy striker was reportedly a target for AC Milan in the January transfer window, but Raiola revealed Balotelli sees his future at the Etihad Stadium.
Raiola said in the Daily Mail: "Balotelli's relationship with Mancini is like that between a husband and his wife. They argue but they love and respect each other so much. Everyone has their own ideas, but Mario will remain at Manchester City. He won't go to AC Milan.
"He will be a City player for at least another two-and-a-half years because Mario is not thinking about other clubs."
The report claims City rejected a £40m bid from Paris St Germain for Balotelli in the summer, but Mancini has become frustrated at the 22-year-old's inability to avoid controversy. After he was left out of the squad to face Tottenham, Balotelli was reportedly spotted in a nightclub at 1am the night before the match.
The young striker has just one goal for Manchester City this season - in the defeat to Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup - and has found himself on the fringes of the first-team this season with Edin Dzeko preferred off the bench.
