David Beckham insists he’s taking nothing for granted ahead of Sunday night’s Western Conference final second leg between LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders.

The former England international captain was in top form for his side in the first leg at the Home Depot Centre, helping last season’s MLS Cup winners to a commanding 3-0 advantage.

However, Beckham is well aware that no lead is safe in such a competition, and will be on his guard to present a huge turnaround when his team travel to CenturyLink Field at the weekend.

“We may have put ourselves in a great position, but last time we played in Seattle we got beat 4-0, well second to last time we played there, so we know that they can score goals there, we know they’re dangerous there, we just have to do our job,” he told LA Galaxy Insider.

The ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star will expect to start against Seattle, but has been feeling the pace of a hectic schedule in the play-offs.

LA Galaxy’s final league position of fifth in the Western Conference meant they had to play a ‘wildcard’ match again Vancouver, and Beckham was feeling the strain after four games in 11 days.

“It feels like we've played about 50 games in the last two weeks,” he’s quoted as saying in The Daily Mail.

Despite being pulled off in the first leg against Seattle, Beckham was showing some of the form that made his arrival in America so exciting for Major League Soccer, and you can watch the highlights below:
