Chelsea defender David Luiz thinks Radamel Falcao would be a perfect player for Chelsea, should he make the move to west London.
The Brazil defender came up against Falcao on Wednesday evening, as the five-times World Cup winners took on Colombia in a friendly in New Jersey.
The side's played out a 1-1 draw, and after the match Luiz revealed he liked what he saw from the striker linked with Stamford Bridge.
When asked if Falcao would be the right man for Chelsea, Luiz told reporters: "Of course [he'd be a great fit]. All of the players would be happy because Falcao would be a great player.
"He's a great player. It's particulary hard to stop him."
According to Goal.com, Chelsea are Falcao's preferred destination, and the Blues have opened talks with Atletico Madrid over a possible January bid.
Falcao reportedly has a £48.1m release clause, so a potential partnership with Fernando Torres - who cost £50m from Liverpool - would make the possible Chelsea pairing one of the most expensive in history.
The Colombian striker has been in sensational form, hitting 13 goals in just 11 games so far this season, including a stunning hat-trick against Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup in August.
Only Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have scored more times than Falcao in 2012, and Chelsea - who sit top of the Premier League table - have a need for a striker with only two fit senior forwards - Torres and Danny Sturridge.
