Carlos Tevez has found himself on the wrong side of the law after his car was impounded by Manchester police. The City star was stopped last night, and his white Porsche Panamera confiscated, after Tevez was told he was driving with invalid documents.

England boss Roy Hodgson believes Chris Smalling has what it takes to become a top-class centre-half. The Manchester United defender is only just returning to the United team after recovering from a long-term foot injury.

Bacary Sagna believes the north London derby is Arsenal's game of the season. The Gunners face Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

John Terry could return from injury within a month after scans showed the damage was not as bad as first feared. The Chelsea defender was stretchered off against Liverpool with a knee injury but could return within three weeks.

Arsenal and Tottenham have issued a joint statement asking fans to behave during this weekend's north London derby. Last year things boiled over as abusive chants were directed at Spurs forward Emmanuel Adebayor and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
