Andre Villas-Boas hailed 'amazing' Gareth Bale after Spurs' hard-fought win over Liverpool - but then admitted it will be difficult for Tottenham to keep him. Barcelona and Real Madrid are watching the Welsh winger - who set up the first and scored the second as Spurs beat the Reds 2-1 at White Hart Lane.

Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has insisted his side are still in the hunt for the Premier League title despite falling seven points behind league leaders Manchester United. The Blues were held to a goalless draw by Fulham - stretching their winless league run to six games.

Roberto Mancini insists he does not want to sell Mario Balotelli after watching him inspire Manchester City to victory. The Italian scored his first goal of the season last night, and Mancini confirmed he's still very much part of his plans.

Lauren Koscielny will be out of action until Christmas after the French international limped out of Arsenal's 1-1 draw at Everton. The Arsenal defender picked up a groin injury after just four minutes, and now faces three weeks on the sidelines.

Jonny Evans admitted Manchester United lost some attacking prowess during their 1-0 victory over West Ham United. United kept only their third clean sheet in the Premier League this season, but Evans felt their cautious approach came at the expense of more goals.
