Wilfried Bony's agent has confirmed he has been approached over a potential move for his client to either Liverpool and Chelsea in the Janaury transfer window.
Bony is attracted interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs thanks to his fine goalscoring form so far this season.
The £8 million-rated striker has 15 league goals to his name already this season, and has been heavily linked with a move to both Chelsea and Liverpool amongst others.
Both clubs appear desperately short of options up front at present and are expected to bring in new recruits when the January window opens.
New Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has so far been unable to do anything about Fernando Torres' alarming slump in form since he joined the Stamford Bridge club in 2011. Chelsea's only other option at present is Daniel Sturridge, who ironically has been linked with a move to Liverpool.
The Merseyside club have been over-reliant on Luis Suarez this season, with no other player aside from the Uruguayan so for registering more than one league goal.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was once more frustrated last night as his side went down 2-1 to Tottenham, while Chelsea could only record their second successive 0-0 draw, against Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
Bony appears to be one option for both clubs given his relatively low price and his knack for finding the back of the net, and his agent Dalibor Lacina confirmed there has been talks held with both Chelsea and Liverpool over a January switch.
"Liverpool are one of the clubs who have been considering him," he told isport.blesk.cz
"We have been in talks with them. It is clear that Bony has attracted interest due to his good performances and consistency."
He added: "Chelsea is another club that are very interested."
