David Beckham is set to speak to Monaco about a potential move, following his final game with LA Galaxy this weekend.

The 37-year-old will leave the Galaxy after Saturday's MLS Cup final, and a switch to Monaco is one of a number of possibilities.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed there will be funds available to him during the January transfer window.

The Gunners have endured their worst league start for 30 years, and Wenger says he's likely to strengthen his squad in the New Year.

Olympic gold medalist Darren Campbell believes he could solve Fernando Torres' pace problems.

Rafa Benitez says Torres has become much slower since his Liverpool pomp, and Campbell thinks he can get the Chelsea striker back to his best.

Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker is close to a first-team return from a long-term Achilles injury.

Parker has not played this season, and could return to the fold for the busy festive period.

Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry does not expect Mario Balotelli to leave the club in January.

Balotelli has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, but Barry can see the Italian staying with City.
