Manchester United predicted line-up v Reading

Published Add your comment

Manchester United will be chasing another Premier League victory after their 1-0 win in midweek, and Sir Alex Ferguson has some decision to make ahead of the trip to Reading.

Anders Lindegaard will hope to keep his place between the sticks after a clean sheet against West Ham United, although Spanish stopper David De Gea is back in contention for the Old Trafford outfit.

Ferguson heaped praise on the form of Rafael in the week, and the Brazilian will expect to start at right back, with Patrice Evra on the opposite flank. Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans are likely to be the central partnership.

In midfield, Paul Scholes is available after suspension, but Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick and Anderson would be a more solid trio for the Red Devils away day.

With four world-class strikers at his disposal, the Manchester United manager is set to pick three from Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez. It’s the Mexican who will probably miss out.
