Bradford City players will have to miss their Christmas party, but manager Phil Parkinson was delighted to see the Bantams come from behind to earn an FA Cup second-round replay at League One promotion contenders Brentford on Tuesday, December 18.

The replay means the Christmas party has been cancelled and Parkinson said: "The players will be disappointed that the Christmas party is off, but a few years ago I was out of work at Christmas time. I missed the football - it is great to be involved at this time of the year."

Bradford are still involved in all three domestic cup competitions, including a home Capital One Cup quarter-final against Arsenal on Tuesday, December 11, and Parkinson said: "Not many clubs have got as an exciting month ahead as we have."
