Wenger calm despite defeat

Published 2 Comments

Arsene Wenger remained defiant after watching Arsenal's Barclays Premier League campaign take another hit as Swansea recorded a 2-0 win with a late brace from Michu at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners had been second best for long spells and despite an improved performance after the break, the Swans earned reward for their persistence when Spanish forward Michu struck twice on the break during the closing stages.

Wenger said: "We are in this job to turn things around, and I am confident we will [because of] the quality of the players and the spirit we have in the team. It is a good moment to stick together."
