Jose Mourinho to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season

Jose Mourinho will be forced out of Real Madrid in the summer after 'committing suicide' with on-field and off-field decisions and feuds, reports in Spain have claimed.

The Real Madrid manager is under pressure after a poor start to the campaign, with the Santiago Bernabeu club 11 points behind Barcelona in defence of their La Liga crown.

Mourinho's relationship with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has reportedly never recovered from a training ground bust-up last season, while the Portuguese has also previously fallen out with captain Iker Casillas.

Poor performances on the pitch and drama behind the scenes now seem to have led the Real Madrid hierarchy to decide that it is time to show Mourinho the door, and the 49-year-old now appears set to leave at the end of the season.

According to Marca, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes Mourinho has been 'committing suicide' with his decisions and statements over the past few months, and now wants him to leave the club.

Perez, though, is not prepared to disrupt the team and get rid of Mourinho in the middle of the season, and would prefer an amicable split when the campaign is over.

This revelation has led to bookmakers slashing the odds on Mourinho returning to Chelsea, with the former Blues boss now 7/2 to come back to Stamford Bridge.

Along with Chelsea, Mourinho has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford, and Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said at the weekend that the the 'Special One' has the ability to manager the Red Devils.
