Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has left a number of first team regulars in England for the trip to Greece, with seven youth and reserve team members in the travelling 18-man party with qualification already assured.
Wojciech Szczesny is one of the ‘veterans’ to make the trip, and will start in goal with youngster James Shea on the bench for the Gunners.
In defence, full-back Carl Jenkinson and captain Thomas Vermaelen will keep their place from the weekend, whilst Sebastien Squillaci and youngster Jernade Meade should complete the back four.
Wenger does have options in midfield, and could play Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a central role alongside Aaron Ramsey and Francis Coquelin. That leaves Tomas Rosicky to come off the bench and make an impact for the Emirates Stadium outfit if required.
Up-front, Moroccan international Marouane Chamakh gets his chance to impress the manager, with Andrey Arshavin hoping to do the same. Gervinho will also expect to start for Arsenal at the Georgios Karaiskáki Stadium.
Arsenal predicted line-up v Olympiacos:
Wojciech Szczesny; Carl Jenkinson, Thomas Vermaelen, Sebastien Squillaci, Jernade Meade; Francis Coquelin, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain; Andrey Arshavin, Marouane Chamakh, Gervinho.
