Fiorentina winger Stevan Jovetic, a reported transfer target for Manchester City, says there is 'no way' he is considering leaving the Stadio Artemio Franchi just yet, although admits nothing is ever certain in the life of a footballer.
Jovetic, who has scored six goals in 11 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina this season, has frequently been linked with a transfer to the Premier League over the past few months, with Manchester City his most notable reported pursuers.
Fiorentina have previously been forced to deny that a pre-arrangement with Manchester City is in place for the January transfer window, after Roberto Mancini was unable to bring Jovetic to the Etihad Stadium in the summer.
Manchester City managed to reinforce with the midfield acquisitions of Javi Garcia, Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair but Mancini continues to be linked with a swoop for Jovetic.
The 23-year-old Montenigrin, however, is content with life in Florence and is not thinking about a move to Manchester, although Jovetic says he can never be entirely confident he will stay with Fiorentina.
"I'm fine here in every way. We're playing well and winning games, which is important," Jovetic told Rai Sport.
"At the moment there is no way I will leave Fiorentina although in the life of a footballer you can never be 100 per cent sure of anything."
