Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to shuffle his pack for the Champions League clash against CFR Cluj, with qualification already assured from Group H.

Anders Lindegaard has recently been given the nod ahead of David De Gea to keep goal for the Red Devils, but the Spaniard will hope to get a chance to impress against the Romanian outfit tonight.

Nemanja Vidic is back in training and close to a return, but isn’t quite ready to return. That means that Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are likely to start at centre back, with Rafael at right back and Alex Buttner on the opposite flank.

If Ferguson opts for a 4-4-2 formation, then Danny Welbeck could find himself playing out wide on one flank, with Ashley Young on the other. Ryan Giggs and Tom Cleverley are a possible midfield pairing at Old Trafford.

Up-front, Ferguson dropped a big hint that Wayne Rooney will start for Manchester United, whilst Javier Hernandez will be hoping to get another starting chance in Europe.

Manchester United predicted line-up v CFR Cluj:

David De Gea; Rafael, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Alex Buttner; Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs, Ashley Young; Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez.
