A player like Thierry Henry needs little introduction, particularly to fans of an Arsenal persuasion.
The past few weeks have been rife with rumours that the 34-year-old striker is set to return to north London for a third spell playing for the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger first spoke about the possibility of the club's all-time leading scorer returning to the Emirates Stadium in November, with the Frenchman's current side New York Red Bulls responding quickly to deny rumours of another Premier League comeback.
But, with Arsenal languishing in a lowly 10th in the table, and the club facing one of its toughest challenges under Wenger, Goal.com reported today that a deal has been principally agreed with Henry and the MLS outfit to allow him to play during the United States close-season.
And, as we await official confirmation of Henry's impending Arsenal return, check out the charismatic striker's highlights from 2012, which includes 15 goals and numerous assists for New York Red Bulls over the past year.
