Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard and Michael Keane have extended their loan stay at Leicester City until January 2nd.

The pair both moved to the King Power Stadium on a one-month deal at the start of November, and experienced differing fortunes for the Npower Championship title contenders.

Lingard, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, featured four times for Nigel Pearson’s side before briefly returning to the Red Devils to play in Monday night’s U21 draw against Southampton.

Keane, a 19-year-old centre back, injured his hamstring on debut against Bolton Wanderers, and returned to Old Trafford for treatment on the injury.

The defender is close to full fitness however, and will join his teammate in returning to the Midlands.

Both players are available for six games over the festive period, with the Foxes taking on Barnsley, Millwall, Cardiff City, Hull City Burnley and Huddersfield Town in the next 27 days.

Manchester United have also confirmed today that winger Robbie Brady will stay with Hull City until the same date in January.
