Luis Suarez wants a transfer away from Liverpool and Juventus are ready to offer the Uruguayan striker a route out of Anfield, reports in Italy have sensationally claimed.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Suarez has decided that not only does he want to leave Liverpool, but also the Premier League, and Juventus hope to secure a deal for the 25-year-old.
The report claims that Juventus would have to pay at least €35 million before Liverpool would consider allowing Suarez to leave Anfield, although the Reds would surely demand a far greater fee for the striker.
Suarez joined Liverpool for Ajax in the 2011 January transfer window for €25 million and has only enhanced his reputation during his time with the club, which would surely drive any prospective fee closer towards the €50 million barrier.
The Uruguay international also signed a new long-term Liverpool contract in September but speculation about his future with the club has persisted.
Even if Suarez attempted to force an exit from Liverpool, the Reds would be highly unlikely to sell considering their threadbare goalscoring department.
Suarez is the only fit senior striker available to Brendan Rodgers, and has scored ten of the 16 goals attributed to Liverpool players in the Premier League this season.
